The Sales Representative travels to potential and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how these needs can be met by specific PSI services. These customers are divided into specific assigned territories.
Achieve the annual sales quota.
Discover and visit potential customers
Visit existing customers to discuss current programs and suggest new programs
Answer customers' questions about services, prices, availability, and credit terms.
Quote prices, credit terms and other bid specifications.
Emphasize service features based on analysis of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of service team capabilities and limitations.
Negotiate prices and terms of service agreements.
Maintain customer records using automated systems.
Identify prospective customers, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs and attending trade shows and conferences.
Select the correct services or assist customers in making service selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications and applicable regulations.
Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information.
Plan and reserve hotel and transportation.
Produce and submit weekly sales reports and expense reports.
Gather customer requirements for quoting purposes
Minimum Bachelor's Degree
MS Office, Internet Skills
5 years experience in a sales position within a similar organization or industry
