The Finance Manager is responsible for all financial functions at division level to include costing, forecasting, monthly P/L, variance/performance analysis of all areas, special projects, annual budget and year end audit.
Using Epicor modules and other reports, summarize division finances and pinpoint areas requiring attention.
Produce and review the following reports daily: cost updating and part number roll ups, actual cost, job value reports, direct and indirect cost tracking.
Produce and review the following reports weekly: WIP account distribution reports, material account distribution, inventory tracking, labor absorption.
Special projects as deemed necessary or as requested by management .
Epicor cost module report to track production costs and labor costs for specific part numbers.
Weekly forecast of shipments and WIP verses production through-put.
Monthly match costs with revenue and post entries to profit and loss statement, reconcile inventory and adjust variances. Report results to corporate.
Review all direct and indirect costs in all departments and assign as fixed or variable.
Develop sales budget and COGS associated to create operating expenses for income statement.
Year end audit to test all procedures to insure accuracy and validate financial statements.
Experience understanding costs with a complex bill of materials.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience with standard and actual cost accounting.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree and 5 years experience in a accounting or financial position.
Master's Degree preferred.
Epicor ERP Experience.
Aerospace, Space or Hi-tech work experience.
Proficiency in Computer programs and databases such as MS Office and/or MS Access.
