The Assembler constructs, assembles, or rebuilds mechanical and/or electrical assemblies and equipment. 


 Assembles products/parts as specified using a variety of small hand tools, soldering equipment and manufacturing test  equipment

    • Conducts assembly test on assembled products as outlined by product specifications using PC Based software test suite
    • Involved with IPR builds concerning new product release.
    • Review and follow product travelers/routers.
    • Use quality standards and engineering drawings to validate product conformity, visually and mechanically.
    • Conducts periodic maintenance/inspection on assembly tooling and test equipment
    • Conducts inspection of assemblies or sub-assemblies throughout the manufacturing process to insure quality/performance standards are being maintained
    • Adheres to all documented procedures in accordance with established Quality Management System.
    • Performs mechanical and/or electrical assembly on a variety of products using a variety of hand tools, inspection equipment, soldering equipment and PC based test stations
    • Lifts pieces of inventory that may weigh up to 50 pounds




  • Knowledge of personal computer based data entry systems such as MS Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of the English Language, including its structure and concepts. Also, knowledge of the meaning and spelling of words, composition and  grammar.
  • Knowledge of Static Electricity, which includes its elimination, and prevention
  • Knowledge of specified use of a variety of calibrated and powered hand tools
  • Efficient at conflict resolution
  • Efficient at multi-tasking
  • Experience with the use of a variety hand tools
  • Oral Communication - the ability to communicate with others through words and descriptions to ensure coworkers will understand
  • High school diploma
